This spring: new work based on my trip to the West coast of Canada, at Art Brussels, Ron Mandos Gallery. Also presenting the fresh series Variations of Time and Place. See https://artbrussels.com/
In her recent series Variations of Time and Place, Spoelstra presents a collection of 12 smaller works that bring together fragments of landscapes encountered over time. These drawings reflect on transience, solitude, and the emotional resonance of places that linger in memory.
Spoelstra’s landscapes exist in a timeless, uninhabited space — without narrative or direction. They are not depictions of specific locations, but echoes: of what once was, what is slipping away, and what remains just beyond reach.
